About Wallet Sprouts

I created Wallet Sprouts because of a simple observation: nearly every finance calculator online is built to capture your email, or funnel you toward a sponsored lender. The actual math, the part that's supposed to be the whole point, is usually an afterthought, buried under pop-ups and "recommended offers."

I built Wallet Sprouts to fix that. It's meant to be the tool you reach for when you want a straight answer: what will my mortgage actually cost, how much will this investment grow, will my retirement savings last. No sign-up wall between you and the result, no sponsored lender waiting at the end.

Wallet Sprouts is built and maintained by a single independent developer, not a company, not a tech startup, not a team with a marketing department. That means updates happen when time allows, and it also means there's a real person reading every message sent through the contact page.

If you're curious about the reasoning behind a specific calculator's assumptions, or just want to say something worked well for you, that message actually gets read by me!

Wallet Sprouts doesn't have affiliate deals with lenders or banks, and doesn't sell data to anyone, because there's no data collected to sell in the first place. The site makes no money from which lender you choose, so there's no incentive baked into any result you see.

Being small helps here: no investors to answer to, no growth targets that require monetizing attention. That's a deliberate choice, and it's part of why the site looks the way it does, clean, fast, and without the clutter most financial tools accumulate over time.
